It was a sad day for pets in my house yesterday. I woke up in the morning to find my 5 inch Oscar, Madison, out of the tank in the middle of my family room floor 
He had jumped so hard he knocked the top into the tank and jumped out. His tankmate, another 5 inch Oscar, Meyer, was pinned under the tank and stunned for most of the day, hardly moving. He seems to be fine now.
We have two dogs, several hamsters and I have 3 aquariums of fish. One with fancy goldfish, one with the oscars and another trpoical tank with cichlids and bala sharks.
Late last night my daughter came downstairs to tell me that her hamster had died. We are all animal lovers in my family. A very sad day, indeed.
